| The
reusable HOBO Event records when momentary contact-closure events
happen, storing the time and date of each event. Only one time
per event is stored to minimize memory usage for applications
where the event duration is not needed.

Rainfall logging
The HOBO Event data logger connects to standard tipping-bucket
rain collectors to determine rainfall rates, times and duration.
The HOBO Event eliminates the need to manually read rain gauges,
saving time and insuring that critical readings are not missed.
Use it to upgrade existing tipping-bucket systems by replacing
counting-type displays.
- Features for rainfall measurements:
- Easily connects to 2-wire output or 2-screw terminals in the
collector
- Compact, weatherproof case can be mounted inside or outside
the rain collector (avoid direct sunlight)
- 8000-tip capacity for up to 80"
of rainfall between readouts with 0.01" tipping-bucket
collectors
- User-entered resolution to match with rain-gauge collector
- Programable lockout time to filter out tipping-bucket bounce
