Detailed
Specifications State
Logger (U9-001)
Monitors when doors are open/closed using an internal magnetic reed
switch and external magnet. External input cable included to monitor
contact closures of remote devices or presence of positive DC voltages
up to 15V. The State logger may be used with the CSV-A8 Current
Switch.
Logger Specifications
Spacing between magnet and logger:
Open: ≥0.75 in
Closed: ≤0.25 in
Contact closure resistance:
Open: > 300K ohms
Closed: < 15K ohms
Light on/off Logger (U9-002)
The light intensity threshold monitored is adjustable from approximately
10 to 100 lumens/m
(flourescent light). The HOBO’s light sensitivity is peaked
in the forward direction and can be taken advantage of to minimize
the effect of other light sources when trying to determine the on/off
state of a particular light source.
Logger Specifications
Light threshold adjustment range: 10 to 100 lumens / meters
(fluorescent light) @ room temp. The sensor’s sensitivity
to incandescent light is about ten times greater.
Motor on/off
Logger (U9-004)
The Motor on/off logger senses the magnetic field created when an
AC motor turns on. It attaches easily to the motor housing without
requiring any wiring. The logger must be mounted very close to (ideally
directly on) the field source, as magnetic field intensities fall
off rapidly with increasing distance from their source (motor, transformer,
or even a single wire carrying a large AC current). Mount the logger
on or close to the motor housing or to one phase of the power line
to the equipment being monitored.
Logger Specifications
AC magnetic field threshold: 750mGauss @ 60 Hz (depending on
distance and orientation)
